EU-Cert Sp. z o. o. is accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) with accreditation no. AC 231 for the evaluation of welding processes in accordance with the EN ISO 3834 series of standards:

The welding process can be found in a wide variety of companies in different sectors, from workshops to assembly plants. EN ISO 3834 ensures the quality of welded joints in your organisation. Welding process assessment according to EN ISO 3834 is recommended for all companies operating in the field of welding, regardless of the application or purpose of the welded product.

Based on the quality requirements, EN ISO 3834 is divided into three levels:

• EN ISO 3834-2:2021 Comprehensive quality requirements
• EN ISO 3834-3:2021 Standard quality requirements
• EN ISO 3834-4:2021 Elementary quality requirements

The assessment of welding processes in the production of rail vehicles according to EN 15085 is intended for manufacturers of rail vehicles and their components who, as part of their activities, may undertake activities related to:

• Design (D)
• Production (P)
• Repairs (M)
• Procurement and delivery (S)

The requirements for quality assurance in welding contained in EN 15085-2 relate in large part directly to the requirements of the EN ISO 3834 series of standards. The relationship between the CL certification level and the relevant part of EN ISO 3834 is as follows:

• CL 1 -> EN ISO 3834-2 (Comprehensive quality requirements)
• CL 2 -> EN ISO 3834-3 (Standard quality requirements)
• CL 3 -> EN ISO 3834-4 (Elementary quality requirements).
